Like every year at that time, the international equestrian world met for the annual big event in Geneva, the Rolex Grand Slam.
On Friday night, Steve delighted his home crowd in the packed Palexpo and won the Top 10 final for the second time after 2010 in a fantastic manner on Alamo, who jumped brilliantly and was faster than any of the other finalists. Just great!
And on Sunday in the Grand Prix of the Rolex Grand Slam, Steve again excited the Palexpo to a maximum when he finished second with Albführen's Bianca, after another thrilling jump-off where he was only beaten by Marcus Ehning! What a dreamy weekend for Steve and his countless supporters, who, as always, were extra-celebrating their hero at this fabulous CHI in Geneva!
Venard de Cerisy, in preparation for London, where the next leg of the World Cup qualification will take place next week, was at the start of jumping competitions over 150cm and finished twice clear.
