Albfuehren's Paille
The bad luck seems to stick this season on Steve’s (riding) boots: The twelve-year-old French mare Albführen's Paille is injured again. Barely recovered from a lengthy tendon injury after the World Cup triumph in April in Las Vegas, the chestnut mare injured again after her comeback in mid-October in Kiel (9th in a 145-competition).
"This time she has tendon problems on another leg. The World Cup season is over for her, even before it has started. Paille will have to pause for a few months, at least until spring of 2016 », said Thomas Fuchs, the coach of the Olympic and World Cup winner.
