Thanks to Peter Schildknecht (Saint Gallen) Steve Guerdat obtained a new 10-year-old grey horse named Opus.Stefan Eder (Austria), Niklaus Schurtenberger (Bern) and Beat Mändli (Schaffhausen) were riding the horse previously. Mändli won the Vienne Grand Prix 2008 on it. Steve Guerdat also has four other horses: Jalisca Solier, Tresor, Ferrari and Urgent.
It has been one week since Steve Guerdat is in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain, for the traditional Sunshine Tour, the competition that takes place during five weeks and that is a good training for the season in the open air. He shall be back in the middle of March to carefully prepare for the Bois-le-Duc CSI-W and the Geneva World Cup Finals in the middle of April.
