The last year's winner of Valkenswaard Youngsters winner and World Championship finalist for 7-years, the offspring of Numero Uno, Urgent, previously ridden by Lauren Hough, has joined Steve Guerdat's stables. "We sold Kador du Valon at the end of the last season and this year my sponsor, Mr. Piaget and I have been looking for a horse that is capable to support our three headline horses and evolve to Grand Prix participation. We think Urgent is the one. Yesterday I have taken the national Grand Prix with it and the first three runs were all fault-free", explains Steve who could as well count on the 9-year Millenium du Tillard, brother of Viking du Tillard of Voltaire. Despite this being the first Urgent's big success, Steve Guerdat prefers to have a break for Global Champion Tour. "I would better concentrate on Europe Championship rather than chasing both Global Champion Tour and Windsor."
