Steve was really on top this weekend at the great Masters in Brussels. Except in the Grand Prix, where Double Jeu did not show his best side (abandonment after two faults).
Beautiful rounds in the young horses for Falcao de Beaufour (0+4), 5th place for Double Jeu d'Honvaut in the LR of Friday, 3rd place for Picobello, who put down one clear round after another and showed himself as an eight-year-old with great potential.
The highlight followed on Saturday evening with a big course and a subsequent jump-off won by Steve with Caracho, who mastered his first victory at this level with aplomb from start to finish.
Dynamix, for its part, completed two warm-up rounds for the European Championships, which will begin next Wednesday.
