Steve was hurt in the knee on Thursday, little fracture of the tibia, but he decided to ride the Rolex FEI World Cup Grand Prix in Bordeaux. He missed the jump-off because of a little fault of Nino des Buissonnets on a vertical. Like in Zurich Steve had the best time with 4 faults and finished at a good 9th place. Thank to this, he is almost qualified for the final with 44 points. 40 points are usually sufficient for the 18 West European qualified riders.
News about Steve’s health
Steve was back in Switzerland on Sunday morning and had different medical examinations in Zurich. The results are the same as on Friday : a little fracture of the tibia and a blood effusion requiring new removals. Steve needs a few days off and will start his training again quickly.
