On the occasion of its 40th anniversary, European University organized a major event in Barcelona on 20 April.
Founded in 1973, The European University has developed an approach to the management of companies that offers high quality teaching, a competitive learning environment and a network of campuses in different countries. This broad network encourages students to participate in inter- campus exchanges in many countries such as: Spain, Switzerland, Germany, the United Kingdom, United States and Malaysia.
The QS TOP MBA list 2012 has placed European University Business School in the top 40 European University MBA programs out of a total of 200 TOP business schools worldwide.
On this occasion, Mr. Dirk Craen President of the European University has invited the Swiss rider Steve Guerdat, Olympic champion in jumping, to give him an honorary degree.
Steve Guerdat has made a special trip to be present at this event before leaving for Vienna the next day.
The title of “Honoris Causa” awards the extraordinary journey of Steve Guerdat in equestrian sport, particularly the Olympic tittle obtained in 2012. This prestigious school recognizes Steve Guerdat great qualities perseverance a great love for his family, his friends and his country, his generous spirit and positive attitude.
During his speech, Steve Guerdat was pleased and humbled to receive this honor and to share it with all of the 300 guests attending the event. He warmly thanked the family Craen for its hospitality and the European University for this award and congratulates them for their success and encourages them to continue to form the world’s elite in business management. Steve Guerdat defends the same values that this
prodigious school and like EU, he always seeks perfection in what he does.
