Steve Guerdat won't be participating in Lyon CSI-W this weekend. His explanations.
Wednesday 28 October 2009
Steve Guerdat, the 6th of the World's Top, has decided to cancel his participation in Lyon CSI-W starting on Wednesday. The rider has previewed to participate with Trésor whom he has taken the 2nd place in Helsinki World Cup qualifier on Friday, October 19th with, but made three faults in at the beginning of the Sunday's Grand Prix. Considering this fact Steve Guerdat preferred to cancel. "Trésor is not injured, but he had a pain in back returning frm Helsinki and he was given the treatment. It is in a good shape now but it won't be right to participate with him at this time, even though it could participate. That's why I prefer to skip Lyon and let it take the time. I will take him back in Verona next week (November 6-8)!" said Steve Guerdat, always caring for the well-being of his horses. What about Jalisca and Ferrari? "Jalisca is good. She is back to work! Regarding Ferrari, it is too early to ride it in Verona, but it will be back in Stuttgart CSI-W (November 19-22)." The dates are called out!
