Under perfect weather conditions, the CSIO of St. Gallen took place — and Steve made a remarkable comeback.
With a double clear round in the Nations Cup on Friday aboard a Dynamix in top form, Steve played a key role in securing the podium finish for the Swiss team. On Sunday, he placed 9th in the Grand Prix after a small fault in the jump-off, which unfortunately cost him the win.
On Saturday, our favorite rider finished 2nd in the Grand Chase with Easy Star de Talma, while Lusso GIH Z earned two placings in the Youngster classes.
There was less success with Lancelotta, but we clearly saw the return of the great Steve. Now we’re looking forward to La Baule next weekend!
We must also highlight the outstanding performance of Guillaume Gillioz, Steve’s home rider, who brilliantly won the Swiss Cup with Remix on Saturday afternoon — after already making a strong impression in the U25 classes in St. Gallen.
