In the world ranking, Steve gained two places and is currently ranked on 5th place. With two places up, Steve made the biggest move under the Top Ten ranked jumpers, although he recently allowed his top horses, especially Nino des Buissonets (picture), enough time to rest in between competitions, furthermore he did not score in Bordeaux and did not participate other lucrative tournaments. But next stage to score points will coming up soon for the Olympic Gold medal winner at the World Cup Finals in April (2013: Ranked 2nd). The current world ranking underlines Steve’s constant performances on high level.
The two young British jumpers Scott Brash and Ben Maher are still leader of current world ranking, followed by the German jumpers Ludger Beerbaum and Marcus Ehning
