It got already serious on Sunday in Deodoro in the first qualifying round, which was a little more selective and technical as in London four years ago, although the qualifying limit was the same: With max. 8 points one was qualified, with more it ment already the end of the dreams to participate in the individual final.
Steve Guerdat in a very confident way
Steve Guerdat was very pleased with the performance of Nino des Buissonnets. Although the rider did not hide that he was a little bit worried before his start: "The obstacle material looks pretty solid, and "Nino" initially looked at it with big eyes the day before in the training. But today he was fantastic, he had fun in jumping. But the journey is still long!" The four Swiss riders are all qualified for the next round, and appear to be homogenous and confident with view to the coming up team-event on Tuesday and Wednesday.
