The result was secured by the three riders for whom that was the first Nations Cup - Martin Fuchs that has splendidly opened the competition (0 + 0 on Principal), Marc Oertly (0 + 0 on Tamira) and Jessy Putallaz (16 + NP on Kolebo des Cabanes). Steve Guerdat scored 4 + 0 on Ferrari. "I am surprised by these young riders' performance, our courage has paid out and we have managed to take the lead in the Promotional League", said Urs Grünig, the Swiss team's chef d'équipe.
