Steve Guerdat was riding Jalisca Solier in this competition. This GP was the first for the horse that took the gold in Windsor since the operation after European Championship. This return was satisfactory because the rider could be granted the victory if not making one small fault after the last obstacle. The final place is 5th but Jalisca is now in an excellent state and the best level. Even if not being among the 18 first riders of the Western Europe League Steve Guerdat would have entered Geneva within the hosting country's wildcard quota. There are two more events to participate in before: Göteborg in the end of the February and Den Bosch in the end of March; where it is yet possible to receive the points. Steve Guerdat has earlier taken the 5th place on Ferrari.
