The Swiss riders were just brilliant this Sunday in the final of the World Cup in Omaha. Romain Duguet finished second on the podium, and Martin Fuchs in fourth place. The victory was taken by the American McLain Ward, who won flawless and in a fascinating manner from beginning to end.
Double title defender Steve was obviously very disappointed after the one fault in the first round, and jumped then again brilliantly and flawless in the second round with his fantastic Bianca. "My mare was exceptionally good from start to finish," says Steve. Unfortunately, this was not enough for the podium.
Steve, however, recovered quickly after the bitter disappointment, especially thanks to the encouraging words of his faithful owners of Bianca.
