World Cup in Stuttgart: Steve takes the lead of the World Cup standings

Despite a somewhat annoying fault in the jump-off Steve was classified with Alamo at the World Cup Jumping in Stuttgart as best Swiss rider in 8th place.

At the same time Steve takes the lead in the World Cup intermediate ranking and has already qualified for sure for a place in the World Cup finals in Gothenburg in early April 2019.

On Saturday Steve won the main competition with Venard de Cerisy after a phenomenal jump-off and in front of a very fair crowd that honored the winning pair with a standing ovation.

Flair, who made her debut at this stage, completed each course immaculately, especially in the Friday night jumping over 155cm, where her agility inspired her rider.

Overall a successful weekend for Steve, looking forward to the next World Cup stage in a week in Madrid.
