World Equestian Games: Switzerland is 13th

Wednesday 6 October 2010
World Equestian Games: in jumping Germany and Brazil came before the US. Switzerland came 13th, having a bit of success by the end while the Netherlands being the current champions were 15th!
Switzerland was 13th after the chase but still hoping to regain the place but then the problem of Cantus came up followed by the 12 pt ride of Steve Guerdat on Trésor whose performance was not satisfactory. "He was not jumping well and that's about it, it was of no particular reason, it is the nature of horses!" said the rider.
On the contrary Daniel Etter performed an excellent show despite one fault and the lack of time. Pius Schwizer made a small fault on 12b obstacle but finally the story ended up on Switzerland being 13th. The times are difficult for the Swiss chef d'equipe Rolf Grass.
