Friday at the Grand Prix, Steve decided to start with Concetto Son, who showed with just one small fault a great performance.

Saturday, in the big tour, Steve and Clair II were ranked 3rd. In the evening, Nino des Buissonnets got elected as Horse of the year 2013 – a worthy honor for his stable performances on high level for the second year in a row since the Olympic Games in London 2012.

Sunday morning Steve and Nasa finished 6th, as already the day before in a 140-competition.

Shortly afterwards Steve had to leave CSI Zurich, due to terrible news about an accident that occurred to his famous male Jalisca Solier in the morning at the stables in Herrliberg (see separate news) Due to the severity of the injury one had no other choice than to lull the mare.

Although deeply troubled, Steve nevertheless decided to still compete in the World Cup GP in the afternoon at the CSI of Zurich, and settled the still relatively inexperienced Concetto Son to attack. The only 10 years old dark brown gelding impressed once again with a very good performance with only one fault at the beginning of the triple combination.

Next station will be World Cup competition in Bordeaux from January 7th to January 9th.
