Nino des Buissonnets à Helsinki
Yesterday Steve dominated with Nino des Buissonnets in the Final of the World Cup Grand Prix in Helsinki in Finland.
Of the 15 couples who had reached the jump-off, Steve and his Olympic horse Nino des Buissonnets realised the fastest clear round of them all. With a time of 34.96 seconds he distanced by 14 hundredths his young compatriot Martin Fuchs, who took second place with PSG Future, and by 37 hundredths of the routinier Pius Schwizer, who finished third, and so the complete top 3 was taken by Swiss riders.
With this victory Olympic champion Guerdat takes over the lead in the FEI World Cup standings after the first two legs in Scandinavia. In Oslo, the Romand was third a week ago.
In the GP on Saturday Steve reached with Albführen's Paille with 4 points in the jump-off the eighth rank.
