In the Top Ten Final at CHI Geneva Steve came close to a victory. Guerdat, who saddled his Albführen’s Paille, remained flawless in the first round and was fastest in den 2nd round. An annoying little fault on the penultimate obstacle cost him the victory. Nevertheless still a very nice 3rd place.
Again, little was missing on Saturday: In the Coupe de Genève the Olympic champion with Concetto Son was without any faults and missed the victory in the jump-off of this combinations competition by only three tenths of a second.
On Sunday in the Rolex Grand Slam Grand Prix, the previous year's winner Steve and Nino des Buissonnets unfortunately did not reach the Barrage due to one fault at the first jump of the double combination.
