After having missed the qualification for Sunday’s final of FEI Furusiyya Nations Cups in Barcelona, the Swiss team finished 2nd in Consolation Round at Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Final, only beaten by the U.S. in the jump-off.
After having dominated the qualification in the most demanding group (Europe Division I) in the last months, the luck was not on the side of the Swiss team on the first-ever final of this year’s Nations Cup series. In addition, they felt the absence of the two top horses Nino the Buissonets and Palloubet d'Halong as well.
On Sidney VIII, Steve finished Thursday in 6th, Friday in 10th, and Saturday in the “Queen’s Cup” in 9th place..
