Steve ranked in the very good 7th place with his promising mare Ulysse des Forêts, for the first time at the start of a Grand Prix over 160 cm.
The day before, Steve finished in 14th place in the World Cup GP with Big Red, who showed an amazing first clear round, but unfortunately had faults at two verticals in the jump-off.
In the afternoon Steve was 5th in the speed and handiness competition with Albführen’s Happiness and 2nd in the Masters CSIYH with Vaya de Brenil Chaîne.
