Bianca (C) Tif Van Halle
What a sport and what an atmosphere! The 44 riders at the start of the Rolex Grand Prix had quickly realized that the degree of this course corresponded to the level of the amount of the the prize money. As so often, Steve excelled himself once again and jumped in the saddle of Bianca near to perfection, with accuracy, rhythm and an exceptional sense of tact. And Bianca has fulfilled all expectations, obviously felt very comfortable on this difficult course and full of energy. Clear in the first round, Steve had attacked for sure in the jump-off but without taking the last risk, and was beaten by just one second.
Ulysse des Forêts, again very powerful in jumping, finished second in the main class on Saturday night. Further good courses resulted with Epicor reaching a 3rd place in a 145cm competition and Carenina (7 years old) jumping on 5th place at the CSIYH.
