Steve Guerdat, who showed a great performance in 2010 at the Top 10 Rolex IJRC in Geneva on Jalisca Solier, competed in Stockholm for the fourth times at the IJRC Top 10 finals. In Stockholm, Steve participated with his grey mare Nasa and allowed Nino des Buissonets, in regard of upcoming CHI in Geneva, a relaxation pause in competitions. During warm up, Steve didn’t feel comfortable about Nasa’s form. These feelings were confirmed by Nasa’s fairly unconvincing jump over fence Nr. 4. “This made me a little bit insecure and I took a too straight line to next obstacle. Nasa’s answer was a refusal”. Although Steve and Nasa showed a clear second round, the final result was only 9th place. In jumping sports, there are such days – no reason to be down in the mouth. Sunday, at the Grand prix, Steve on Clair II got penalized with four faults.
