Steve, current No. 1 in the world, has been awarded "Rider of the Year 2018" due to his ten zero faults rounds in Nations Cups.
In addition, the Hofgut Albführen and Steve were awared as "Owner of the Year 2018" for the wonderful Albführen's Bianca, and thus Bianca especially honored for her bronze medal at the WEG in Tryon.
The World Cup GP on Sunday Steve did not compete as planned with Ulysse des Forêts (second in the jumping on Sunday morning, and flawless the whole weekend), but with Venard de Cerisy. After a zero-fault ride with the only ten-year-old gelding in the main competition on Saturday night, however, Steve withdraw to participate in the jump-off, saved Venard de Cerisy for Sunday’s GP and rode him for the first time on World Cup level.
The beautiful bay again showed great springing power and only slightly touched the second to last obstacle, missing to qualify for the jump-off by just a little.
Steve, however, scored another 7 points and continues to lead in the World Cup qualification.
Hannah showed good jumpings in the 145cm competitions, each time finishing without faults, albeit not within the time allowed.
